NVO — Niagara Volunteer Opportunities
A group of community volunteers together

About NVO

Find your hours. Find your people.

Niagara Volunteer Opportunities started with a simple problem: finding a place to volunteer around here was harder than it should be. Opportunities were scattered across bulletin boards, Facebook posts, and word of mouth — and students racing to finish their 40 hours had no easy place to look.

So we built one. NVO is a free community hub for the whole Niagara Region — all 12 municipalities, from Grimsby to Fort Erie. Non-profits post their opportunities, volunteers browse and apply, and nobody pays a cent.

We're especially proud to help high school students. Every listing that counts toward the Ontario 40-hour requirement wears a green badge, and our Student Hub explains the rules without the jargon.

Follow along on our Facebook page — we share new opportunities and volunteer stories from around the region.
